What to expect:
This is a handon event where you can join others in learning how to build a social application on facebook platform, on bebo social network, what are the technologies involved, what are the secret sauces for quickly setting up and building and launching an app.
Offerpal offers virtual currency to monetize your apps on facebook, bebo and opensocial.
We will have experts at hand to teach you fundamentals of FBML, Bebo Platform, setting up free hosting on Joyent using OpenSolaris and setting up monetization with Offerpal.

1:00 Walkthrough to build a Facebook/Bebo Application and Developer Sandbox by Bess Ho
Did you know Facebook and Bebo Platform are so similar that if you setup on one you can repeat on other and create the same application to reach millions of users on two different social networks?
Bess Ho will walk through the setup process and teach you basics of FBML to get started with a real working application.
2:00 Application Hosting onthe Cloud
Sun will be at hand to walk us though how to setup free hosting at Joyent. This works for Facebook, Bebo and Opensocial applications.
3:00 Porting Your Facebook to Bebo
Steve Cohen, head of engineering at Bebo will walk you through a step by step process to get your application up and running on bebo in 30 minutes.
You can create a new bebo application or you can take your facebook application and port it to bebo within 30 minutes, using the same FBML you learned from Bess earlier.
You can submit any new Bebo app created into the Bebo's BEST Contest.
4:00 Monetize Your Application with Offerpal
Deepika Bajaj of Offerpal will walk you through a step by step process on the secret to adding virtual currency into your application right when you launch it.
You get a chance to win the 2,000 free installs as you learn this process.
